Music Festival Memories
As I was walking over the different concerts I could truthfully not believe my ears. I was hearing top indie bands all at the same place. The music filled my ears while i rocked back and forth. I was there with six of my buddies and we were using the best time in the world. Except with the heat everything was perfect. I had just started following indie music ninety days before. I had visited online playlists wishing to discover new artists which could satisfy my craving. I had did start to recognize a few indie bands about last month. That is when my friend Joe invited me into the future with him towards the present music festival. The atmosphere was perfect.
There initially were all sorts of bands here. There were emo bands playing their sad songs. There was indie electronic bands like the Postal Service. I had really started to like this music. I could walk between genres of music and enjoy the fact that I saw it never heard some of these bands before however were playing music which were just as good while the mainstream stuff.
About the ride home we stopped by Sonic to get some take out and some great drinks. I cannot get some worth mentioning bands of my head therefore i started in conversation with Joe upto a few of them. He asserted although he hadn’t been aware of some of them he definitely had heard a number of them on a few different playlists online. He provided me the different sites name i wrote them down. Joe challenged me to develop a playlist and come in in our contest among our friends. Much as it turned out I won the limited contest qualifing for the bragging rights for the upcoming month. Joe arrived second which made it much sweeter having beaten my mentor in the music. The one guy who had shown me the great indie bands had lost within little contest. It genuinely made my day.
It's you which are just starting to find indie music appealing I would suggest listening to a few of the more mainstream bands. My personal suggestions may be Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, Dashboard Confessional and Modest Mouse. You should recognize a selection of their songs but there can be real treasures that happens to be yet to be undiscovered by you if you should aren’t a diehard fan yet. After taking note of these bands come back and discover more with my new posts. I’ll make sure you update them because i find more music which enjoy.
